Personally, I'd actually like to see Apple split the current Nano line. Keep a small Shuffle-sized Nano with updated specs (for those who like using it as a wristwatch or something) and bring back the old oblong Nano for those who want to do other stuff with it.

Then again, this is Apple and they have a natural aversion to anything allowing users to choose what they're gonna do with their product, so this might not happen.

I don't know why Apple dropped the iPod nano's oblong. They could have intro the shuffle size. I personally would like a dedicated small compact music play with a long battery life and nothing else. No video player, no camera, no video recorder and no wi-fi, just some good old music player.

I'd love to see GPS come to the Nano. It's almost the perfect workout device for cyclists/runners. I don't care about the camera. Just give me music features and GPS with decent battery life. Bluetooth would also be a welcome feature.

@Daniel. You are right. Will need to see the inclusion of gps-supported running app. I don't see the need for a camera; quality would've sucked anyway.
