I just downloaded it, and man, that UI is butt ugly. (and I thought LibreOffice wasn't great) What were they thinking? (with the icons) Otherwise, it's mostly the same as Office 2010. If they keep this up, I will be switching to Linux. I've had enough of this metro crap.

Edit: I just reinstalled Office 2010, and man, it looks beautiful in comparison. Wait, was 2013 supposed to be an upgrade? It doesn't seem to be, in that regard... (otherwise, for the features I use, it's pretty much the same)

I haven't tried it but my friend has it, he seems to like it but when I saw it the features are basically the same and I have to agree this metro style crap is getting really old and I also don't get why they want us to pay more when the features are just the same as in office 2010. Its really stupid if you ask me.

TBH, I don't think they've really added any features that make it a big enough upgrade to justify since 2007. It's starting to look like change for the sake of change at this point. (though being able to edit PDFs is cool)
