Please explain to me how Google can reduce the functionality of Microsoft's products without hacking into their servers.

Hey, I have a lot of course work now and I already have an iMac but I sometimes hate the feeling of working in the office (outside of my house). Can you use the SkyDrive online editor for working on documents? i.e does the ipad support it?

By altering client-side whatever functionality the browser gets from the Microsoft servers?

Last week, I tested the Word and Excel web apps (the free ones) on an iPad via Safari at an Apple store. They seemed to work beautifully. I'm actually planning to get an iPad as a result. Thus, I'm puzzled by the numerous online reports claiming otherwise.

At the time the article was written, Safari for iPad was not supported by Office Web Apps.
