It's amazing what can be done in a NASA movie studio /S
What is it about Mars that si so intriquing that we keep wasting money to visit? Are we that bored? There is no running water, the atmosphere can't support life as we understand life to be and its hot...
There si no life on the planet, no significant prrof there ever was or will be any.
It seems such a waste of money. Why not use that money to actually do somethign to benefit mankind in general? Why do do deep sea exploration. That's a space that hs rarely been touched.
Create an unmanned space ship that can go down into Mariana Trench so we can see what lives there. Maybe we can unlock other mysteries of this planet.

What if all the inventors think like you? we could be in the stone age yet.

You do realize that we have been down to the Mariana Trench quite a few times now, right? Why do we keep going to the red planet? Because it is the most suitable for testing the frontier that is planetary exploration. Venus, too Hot, the gas giants, too much gravity...Mars, well that works quite well. We are looking for how common the building blocks of life are, in at least our solar system, and finding them is much less costly on mars. You like that computer you are on? How bout the internet you are posting such misguided posts on... All of it made possible by innovation and human curiosity, of which if left to people such as yourself would never have happened.

You obviously didn't think this through very well, obvious by the fact you said Mars is too hot when it's actually colder. There is also a process called Terraforming where you take an uninhabitable planet or landscape and transform it into suitable for human life. Clearly this isn't perfected yet, but there are scientific theories on how to do this, and we can't terraforming earth. Mars is the first step into human expansion which we need to do, we cannot live on this planet forever. Not to mention, even without an atmosphere, Mars would be ripe for mining minerals we Will inevitably run out of. Think outside the box. It was stated we're aiming to have man on Mars by 2030. :-)
