I think this is a smart service, unfortunately too many people do not realize how unsafe (insecure?) email is.

In the past, I have used an image (gif or png) to send sensitive info like a username/password or CC number, but with better OCR this is probably not a great solution.

Smart idea. We're building an Exchange app that uses SSL to encrypt data at a user level, but having the ability to set destruction timers on individual messages would be nice.
