I recently moved house and changed from orange isp to virgin. For the first 2 days I had no problems but then I could no longer access one particular website. I have tried firefox google chrome and the latest ie, but none work, and I have tried resetting my router as well. The site is cyber-junkies.net and I am using windows 7 and the latest ie. PLEASE help!!

Try changing your DNS server: https://developers.g...-dns/docs/using I've seen this work before.

Hi, Gizmo, and welcome for the Answer Line forum.

How long as this problem persisted? This sort of thing isn't necessarily a problem on your end. The site itself can be having difficulties, although this doesn't last long.

I had no trouble visiting cyber-junkies.net.

I have had this problem now for 3 to 4 weeks, but can access it easily enough using Virgin from my friends house.

Then I'd go with Brian's suggestion: Change your DNS server.

Have you tried ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt?

Yes, I already tried that. Apparently the problem IS an IP address one, to do specifically with cyber-junkies, but I've no idea how to sort it out (and yes, I DO have access to the Admin CP there).

It seems the problem has now been fixed! A technician came out today and replaced my Super Hub with a new one, and I was back on my site sraightaway!!
