Welcome to the cloud, without government regulations to hold corporations responsible for their users.

I switched on FB's 2-step authentication. It worked fine for a few days, then the time between requesting a code to log-in and receiving the code went from a few seconds to a few minutes and then a few hours. Yesterday I waited for 4 hours to receive my code. I think this is another case of FaceBook offering a service but not wanting to provide it. If only a million users decided to use this service once a day wouldn't that be a million sms that the company would have to pay for? I believe the longer and longer time lag is FBs way of persuading me not to use 2-step authentication.
