I'm noticing some incredibly annoying issues in Ubuntu 12.04 (64-bit) that didn't exist in 11.04 (64-bit). For one, I have to hit the EXACT ONE PIXEL in the lower-right to resize a Window. This wasn't the case before. (in 12.04, it's fine if I resize from the top corners of the Window)

Also, it seems hellbent on not letting me install Chrome 32-bit. It claims the package catalog is corrupted every time, and I have to repair it. (The 64-bit version is fine though. I can't remember which I used on 11.04.)

Another oddity - I opened the dash, typed 'terminal', and hit enter, and I get... thunderbird? WTF? (just because that was showing before I started typing doesn't mean I want that launched after I typed something else)

One last thing - I don't like how the window controls are on the left. gconftool-2 --set /apps/metacity/general/button_layout --type string "menu:minimize, maximize, close" fixed it though... (but not when maximized... I haven't figured out a way to do that yet)

Other than that, I think Unity works better than the previous UI.

I actually think that Ubuntu 12.04 is a big improvement from 11.04.

I never encountered those problems before on my PC.
However Ubuntu Software Centre freezes and crashes the PC so I use Terminal's apt-get command to install.

But for me the big improvement is:
1.Before Unity was blury and the screen was not giving clear picture.
2.When I Looked at some videos online they wouldn't come clear.I couldn't even view some videos.

I'm hearing that the window resizing thing is a VMware issue - I haven't verified that though.

I haven't had any issues with window resizing on my computer (Ubuntu 12.04 al natural). I also haven't experienced your issue with the dock loading the wrong application. Could be more of a VM lag issue than an issue with Ubuntu.

I'll have to try it under VirtualBox later and see if this is any different.

I got a black text-interface and no GUI in VMware and VirtualBox stopped working(Not because of Ubuntu)so I dual booted for a while until I installed Windows 8.

This! I have had this same problem, and it is really bothering me. I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows, and have barely used the Ubuntu partition because of this. I cannot configure it the way I want to unless I look up the terminal commands. I really am a GUI guy though.
