I couldn't help but try this being Tigerdirect had my drive at a good deal.

Updated the firmware first being a Raid 0 can't be firmware updated according to OCZ.

Below is my 1st test when I had a single drive.

Raid 0 really pumped up the numbers.

Holy crap. And entire DVD can be copied off there in 4 seconds.... just wow.

Now, what on earth are you going to do with that type of speed?!

LOL

Sometimes we do things because we can and want to with no real reason or purpose beyond that.
This upgrade which was a near rebuild turned out nice.

I was surprised with the results.
Hopefully all components will stay happy.

Oh I know it! I was just curious if there was a plan for it.

Bragging rights are always worth it. :D

To be fair, I never really expected 1GB/sec to be really feasible. Glad to know I was wrong. So - how quickly does Crysis load?

I'm slightly familiar with Crysis, my son plays it, but I don't.
Reinstalled the old game halo, need to reinstall MW3.

I wonder if platter drives experiance simular improvements putting them in a raid 0?
Really wasn't expecting these to nearly double.

They do see faster transfer speeds, but latency is usually worse.
