Hi and welcome to the Forums. I would recommend LG due to the type of glasses used. Also, the larger the area, the larger the screen you would need.

You're really considering 3D TV in a bar? Think about all the issues of people wanting the glasses, people not wanting the glasses, and people forgetting to return the glasses before they leave.

Exactly. You would most likely be missing a lot of 3D glasses by the end of the day.

It could also hurt business. A customer could drink one beer, look at the TV, think he's seeing double, and decide he'd better not drink anymore.

Good points all. I think I would just consider a good 120 Mhz HDTV and forget about the 3D aspect.

Or the more basic problem of someone who did not want to wear the glasses would likely get a headache from looking at the TV. 3D is kind of an all or nothing type thing. So, I could imagine getting be annoyed by a 3D TV if I was not wearing glasses.

And if you already wear glasses, it's really annoying. I don't, but my dad does, and he's found 3D movies (in the theater) to be a bit annoying for that reason. (we haven't seen any 3D movies since) In that case, anyway, I found that I only noticed the 3D effects in the opening and closing credits anyway, for the most part.
