I like that price. I've got to check out Fry's, I'm sure they'll have something compatible for around the same price. I know of a handfull of clients that will be very interested. I like installing the SSD units, they are fast and install in a flash.

It's a shell shocker so it won't last long.
Prior to that I picked one up for $115.

LOL
The only thing is that I'm still a bit skeptical of Sandforce controllers. I'm thinking about waiting until Black Friday and getting a Samsung 830 or Crucial M4.

This is not a sandforce controller.
That is why I now own 2 of them.
Uh Black Friday.
The best highlight of the coming winter.

Whoops, I missed that. The Vertex 3s were, so I just assumed the 4s were as well.
I have to wonder though - with drives like the 830 and M4 regularly hitting $100 for 128GB now, what kinds of prices will we see on Black Friday?

I expect some quality 250GB drives at irresistable prices.
120/128 drives too.
That drive for $80 yesterday was a great deal.
Sucks it was two weeks after I bought my second one for around $115.

Lol... the prices really seem to be plummeting. If, for instance, my laptop's hard drive fails, I'm going to have a hard time justifying NOT replacing it with an SSD!
I'm seriously thinking about getting an SSD on BF though. A good (non-Sandforce) 120GB drive for $60 definitely seems like a possibility at this point.
