Come on guys, This topic was about to boycott or not to boycott apple, don't make it another stupid argument about apple vs Microsoft. to be reasonable both have pros and cons, currently I'm totally in Microsoft side with WP and Windows 8 but the new macbook pro with retina may become my first apple product.
Just concentrate on the boycotting iphone or not please, I've never bought one and likely never will in future.

On a side note, check this out: http://www.tomshardw...suit,17595.html Isn't karma a bitch, Apple?

Not karma yet. Samsung and HTC has not won anything yet. While they might win it, they may not. Keep in mind that LTE patents might also run afoul of "standards" issues.

Overall, it is the way of the tech world these days...lawsuits. While I am somewhat bothered by them all, I also recognize that companies do have some right to protect what they spent a lot of time and money on to develop.

As I said:

Obviously, there is no guarantee that the Department of Justice's or the European Commission's investigations will end in the result that Apple seems to be hoping that they do, but it does kind of put a little bit of "wait a minute" on any Samsung lawsuit of LTE patent's (and maybe similar issues with HTC lawsuits over LTE patents).
