I have had a couple of instances where Avira Free Antivirus identified files as infected. The most egregious occurred using the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool. When I tried to create a bootable USB drive for recovering my system, Avira blocked the entire disc creation process by identifying the newly created autorun.inf file as infected and preventing access.
To compound the problem, it is impossible to report a false positive because Avira zeros out the file so it cannot be uploaded to Avira's site for evaluation.

Hey Zelwin !

Have you tried to download the files needed then, disconnect from the net.
Right click on the Avira icon and choose to exit the program. Now, still disconnected
from the net and Avira exited from its functions, create your bootable USB drive.

Once done, don't forget to re-enable Avira before you re-connect to the net.

There should be a White list in the settings to stop Avira from scanning this file.
it could also be attributed to over aggressive Heuristic detection. Lower the
detection instances for the Heuristics. You could also just untick the box for the
heuristic detection all together but, that would lower it's efficiency.

Avira is agood antivirus program. If it is creating such problem, you need to follow some instruction which Avira is showing and what it is blocking, is for your computer's health. Do not exit it for downloading something, it is not allowing, as it might create some threats to the system.

Maybe you should stick to what you know best.
