And I think we may finally have the flaky login issue fixed, so you will hopefully always appear to be you instead of it looking like you are logged in as someone else.

Please let me know if you still see this happening.

Thanks,
Bill

I have not had it happen in a week or two. And the "front" forum page has consistently been showing the correct information in terms of forums read/unread, etc. (unlike Macworld's forums...although I have not logged into there in about a week or so).

I notice I still can't change my email or password here (ever since the changes, I get a 404 when trying to access that page). Ughh...

Edit: Another bug - on my profile, the button to update my status says 'Undefined', and when I delete it, I get a dialog that says 'undefined.'

Guys... the PCW.SKIN2012 skin is completely unusable. Plus, I can't find a button to disable it. (I have to go back, and then select the mobile skin or the PCW.SKIN314 one from the previous cached page.)

I Prefer To Use The 'IP.Board Mobile' Though - It Is A Lot Faster.

Cheers.

Does anyone else have issues with the forum giving a plain-text editor, with non-functional controls, whenever it feels like it? I've been encountering this a lot lately.

Since I use the plain text editor all the time, no, I have not noticed it. :D

I did notice that it did at one point have non-functional controls...at least I could not get to the emoticons.

Hmm... Another thing I noticed is that I was getting a lot of </br> tags when that happened. (and the last time I checked, <br> didn't have an end tag to begin with)

They are different types of line breaks. And yes, this is happening with the broken Rich Text editor. Seems to happen less in IE though. I turned mine off for now.

I'm using Chrome btw. What are you using now?

Edit: Interesting... when it does this, it's as if I disabled Javascript - when I click my username, I get taken straight to my profile page rather than seeing the normal menu.

I end up using a bit of everything. Work has me using all three - so I pay little attention really.

At work, yes. Home, no.

Umm... what do you guys have against embedded PNGs? I cannot edit my sig unless I remove the ones I currently have in there, for instance.

It might be a temporary bug.

For example, clicking on your "Show" button in your signature right now does not work for me...nor any of the editor formatting icon/buttons. Thus, there is certainly some temporary issues with the forum software.

Interesting - the 'Show' button works for me. I found toggling the Javascript settings (from the menu added in Chrome 23 by the URL bar) at least got Javascript working on the homepage. (JS being disabled for no reason seems to be causing most of the problems for me.)
