I am trying to use lightscribe and I am being directed to update my drivers but I get the message hpprobar is not responding followed by the attached picture. I am running Windows 7 and I get the message please wait...update in progress but it just sits there and spins and nothing happens then the hpprobar is not responding message comes up. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

Hey notpcliterate !

I gather you have a LightScribe burner and the right discs ?

Have you tried to uninstall all software for LightScribe and re-installing it?

I had this problem (well, not exactly the same) with one of my daughter's
HP notebook. I used this download : http://www.lightscri...dex.aspx?id=810
to solve my problem.

It's a good site with lots of good info and tutorials You might just find your answers there.
