Hi all.
Im new to this site and would like to (a) find out more information, and (B) help out when and if I can.
The problem that I have is simple, im a mechanic by trade and use my laptop for diagnostics on cars, but when I need to use the internet I have to walk bout 200 meters to the house.
The garage is getting it's power supply from my house.
Would a TRENDnet TPL-401E2K 500Mbps Powerline AV Adapter Kit, or similar work in this situation or would I need to go down the route of gettin a "proper" internet connection in my shed.
As it stands I have excellent connection to the net in my house.

If anyone has any comments please feel free to comment. No matter how good or bad.

Thanks in advance

I can't comment on the Powerline adapter. You might be able to use a Linksys WRT-54G wireless router WITH a pr. of +9db antennas. I bought my +9db antennas on E-bay.

Heck yes, if it is the same power line as the one near to your home's incoming Internet connection router, plug them in and connect away.
