Upgrading Gpu Installation

I'm getting a gtx550ti but how do I install I know how to install hardware but not sure in window do I need to unistall 250 and enable on board video or do I just leave it installed add new hardware since there both gforce cards just upgraded to new driver update

Also, what model of power supply do you have?

So after I uninstall gpu and drivers I install new gpu should I hook up monitor to on board video or will monitor work with new card before I I install 550 drivers

That said, your PSU sounds a bit generic, and in any case I recommend replacing it with a better unit. (cheap ones can fry hardware, make things unstable, reduce the lifespan of hardware, they often can't provide the rated wattage, etc) Something like a Corsair CX430 is good.

Brian is right though, if you get to that point where you are investing into serious hardware, a more stable PSU is in order.
