Hey Daisky!
You're Welcome!
MalwareBytes' will most likely revert back to the free version once the trial period ends.
It's too bad you uninstalled LockHunter. It's a free program that works very well and doesn't
take any resources. It's there if and when you need it.I know I have used it in the passed and
was very useful at determining which program a file is associated to.
Don't forget to update MalwareBytes' every three or four days.
Make sure Norton works properly and updates on it's own.
Check for plugin updates (Adobe,Flash Player, Java...) every two to three weeks.
Run scans (quick scans) every three or four days. It only takes a few minutes.
Clean out the Temps files before you scan. Check for updates to CCleaner
Defrag every two or three weeks depending on the use of the PC.
Some kind of Ad blocker would be useful. Infected ads on certain sites or sites that have
been compromised can be blocked by these add-ons.
For Firefox we use AdBlockPlus : http://adblockplus.org/en/
In Internet Explorer I use Simple AdBlock : http://simple-adblock.com/products/
This one however , is the paid version that I use. The free version only blocks 200 ads .
OK, Daisky, with these small steps, you should be able to surf comfortably and safely.
Any other problems , just start a new thread and we will help as much as we can.
