A - Does Your Left Button, Half Of The Time, Reacts Twice When It Was Depressed Only Once ?

B - Does Your Right Button, Half Of The Time, Reacts Twice When It Was Depressed Only Once ?

C - Is Your Wheel Roll Movement In A Complete Disarray With The Mouse Response ( Even When The Wheel Roll Sound Was Not Yet Activated ) ?

Is There Any Obsolescence Conspiracy Theory Related With Mice ?

Thank You.

I usually have the opposite problem. It takes two clicks--or one real hard one--to register at all. And yes, that's with an aging mouse.

It seems like the buttons are the first thing to wear out on a mouse, which probably shouldn't surprise anyone since they're the only moving parts now that all mice or optical. (Remember mechanical mice, where you had to remove and clean the ball every so often?)

A few weeks ago, my computer seemed to stop working. Moving the mouse moved the pointer, but nothing responded to a click. I reboot three times, once into safe mode. I was considering reinstalling Windows when I booted a live Linux flash drive and still had the problem. Then I realized that it was only the mouse!

Is it a conspiracy? I doubt it. But making cheap mice is probably better for the bottom line than making expensive ones.

Big reason why I generally don't use the cheap, crappy mice that come with desktops these days (not that I have had a "manufactured" desktop in ages).
