It's opera, and Microsoft budget is for marketing is 1.2 billion, that's not enough to bribe opera.

How should I know?

As much as Obama paid her 4 years ago maybe?
To disagree without being disagreeable is the art of debate. Simply because one has a strong opinion, it does not necessarily make an alternative opinion less valid.

Great endorsement for a toy or consumable item. Where is a comparable endorsement by a leading company involved in content creation? Unless, of course, Microsoft has chosen to abandon that part of the marketplace.

Surface is a dud. Oprah's ability to move a product relied on her old TV show, now no longer on air.

Oprah also declared that OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) would be a huge hit and it' a dud.

Why not siphon away customers from android devices. Everyone has been searching for an iPad iPhone killer.

First of all, it doesn't take much to make Oprah to get excited. That bimbo is just yapping not only to promote MS Surface but also herself. Call it free advertising. You utter something about a major company and someone is bound to write an article. Never cared for Oprah and her fake tear-ducks. I bet you that she has never even open a book and read it all. Thank god she's off the major network. With all of her fake compassionate tear jerking, she should be promoting Kleenex tissues or better yet, be the spokesperson for Kimberly-Clark products. If she want her show go up in rating, she should come out of the closet (Anderson did it) and leave that poor old man that she says, is her husband. Oprah you don't know squat about electronic and/or computers.

Oprah is not worth all that much anymore. Julia Louise Dreyfus "Elaine" from Seinfeld is worth more at $2.9 Billion

You are a bitter, disillusioned rake for calling Oprah a bimbo. ...And you don't know a squat about her, too. I really don't care much about her endorsement, but she is a successful, self-made woman and there are folks who swear by her. That's more than I can say about you.

Seriously this is newsworthy? So I should trust Oprah to know what is a good OS. because she is like the Goddess of all tech guru's? I have seen pictures of Oprah on a iMac at home. Am I to believe she has gone over to the dark side now?

Sold out within a day is a dud? Maybe someone should tell Apple their products are duds too...

I have to admit though, it is hard to take Oprah seriously when she also places her stamp of approval on BOSE crap.
"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'" -- Isaac Asimov
