My 's specification is at http://valid.canardpc.com/2569693
Accordingly, I am using a400 MHz DDR2 RAM. I researched on my mainboard and found out that my mainboard support a 1066 or 1333 DDR3 RAM at http://www-aws.deltr...er=MBECSG41T-M7
I am about to attach a new RAM.
I wonder whether I can have a 1066 or 1333 DDR3 RAM on my mainboard or not.

Interestingly, newegg says the board uses DDR2 667/800MHz RAM. (Note: DDR=Double Data Rate, so what CPU-Z reads as 400MHz is really 800.) http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813135239
Both DDR2 and DDR3 are physically compatible though, and I think some boards support both.

The issue guys, is that ECS made several motherboards with similar names. Here is the board in question: http://www.ecs.com.t...nuID=16&LanID=9
It is DDR2 only.

Just to clarify, DDR2 and DDR3 are NOT physically compatible. The key is further offset on DDR3. The boards that support both have separate slots for each type.
