Good luck getting tech support and the company is totally out of touch with customers. I purchased a monitor from CompUSA back in 2010 and there was a Pixel problem right out of the box. I contacted ACER and pretty much was told by the person I spoke with that if I send it to them for repairs, I would most likely have to pay for them because I probably damaged the Monitor taking it out of the box.
I am one of the most meticulous people ever, taking very good condition of all of my electronics and for this woman to say that totally turned me off to their products! Most people don't really care as long as products are cheap but that's why I shop around to get the best deals and when companies don't stand behind their products, I don't buy then anymore, period. Their lost!

Why didn't you take it back to CompUSA? I know they are not the same company that they started out to be, but still, they should have taken it back without their "restocking fee". I think they give you 90 days. If it was through their mail order service, then they should still honor returns (hopefully, they should not charge you to return a defective piece of equipment AND pay for its return).

So...you're saying that you've decided to blame the company for the behavior a single employee and her choice of words? I'm sure if you one day own a company you will want every employee's behavior to be accounted as a 'for the record' testimony on behalf of the company and its principals.
