Greetings

I recently got my internet upgraded to a 40mb down and 10mb up. Downstairs it works perfectly fine with full connection. However upstairs even when using a wired network adapter I only get a fraction of that (around 5mb down and 1mb up). Any ideas what I can do?

I've installed correct drivers and still nothing

What are the rest of the details for the machine that isn't working correctly?
"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'" -- Isaac Asimov

Also have you tried the same machine in both places...if at all possible? This would eliminate a lot of other "variables".
