I bought 2 of these fans for push/pull on my CPU cooler, they are 110cfm and only 10 bucks.
One died in a month, the other died today at about 6 months.
Do Not buy this fan.
Scythe Slip Stream Kaze Jyuni 120MM Fan 1900RPM 110.3CFM 37DBA
manufactures Part #: SY1225SL12SH

I have ordered this fan, should be here in 5 days.
Silverstone 120MM FM121 Case Fan 800-2500RPM 17-39.5DBA MAX. 110CFM W/ Black Knob
manufactures Part #: RL-FM121-B
Its 110cfm, 2 ball bearings, 12 bucks, hopefully it will last along time.

Meanwhile I under clocked CPU to 2GHz, it was overclocked to 4GHz, so this will keep CPU from getting to hot for now. Its about 58c rite now under little load.

I like the RPM range on those Silverstone units. I use ducting to get the most from each fan and the lower the speed, the lower the noise. I run four fans on the server, besides the PS fan asnd it is closed off from the case so that fan just cools the PS.

That is sad to hear.... Scythe used to make terrific products. Hope the new fans work well for you.

I found push/pull didnt make much of a difference so I will be getting only one fan.

I dont care if its noisy or not.

I just finished tearing down PC to put new video card in, had to move a hard drives out of the way to get it to fit, theres 4 hard drives, then a few days later fan dies, typical......

CPU fan returns from the dead, like bride of frankenfan.

I put new fan in, its not like the website said.
The website showed a pic of the control knob just hanging on the end of the wire and implied it had 3 speeds.
In fact the control knob is on a plate that fits in the floppy bay on the case, and the knob is a potentiometer giving infinity variable speed.
Max RPM is rated at 2400, mine does 2500, setting the knob at 53% gave me about 2280 RPM, it cools good there and I figure it will last longer cuz its not running at full speed.
Is cools a bit better than the fan it replaced.
Its a bit noisy, high pitched whine, if you slow it down it dosnt get much quieter just a lower pitched whine, but CPU is overclocked lots so I dont care about noise.
