(that's the Apple philosophy, which doesn't have a start menu either, and average person likes it - because they use a total of like 15 programs, and the power user eventually tweaks it to a point where they are happy with it, it seems)
By the way, there a lot of programs and tools (such as the steps recorder) that was also in Windows 7. But they were hidden. Windows 7 Start menu also need to hide some stuff, because otherwise it would be overwhelming.

create a new shortcut on your desktop, and name it the following:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
That's it!

I can't get over how so many people go after grammar and spelling in the comments section. They aren't getting PAID to pontificate and such. Lighten up. Dysfunctional, however you spell it, is slang, anyway, and has only recently become part of the vernacular (to describe most if not all families, so it's redundant, at best).
And...does the God mode actually work? Because that would be... AWESOME!

Most computers are 64-bit now, so that isn't much of an issue unless you're getting a cheap computer. But yes.

Fyi, on an x86 machine, you can disable Secure Boot in the BIOS. (not on ARM though) I think it's a relatively stupid feature to begin with though.

I mean, who wants their boot loader secured against viruses anyway? Right?

And how many viruses are there out there that target the boot loader? As far as I can tell, it's mainly an anti-competitive feature to make it a bit harder for the end user to install another OS on the THEIR PC.
And besides, who wants a tablet UI on their desktop/laptop anyway?

First off, they do exist. And do you prefer to be proactive with your security or retroactive? I prefer the proactive approach. This allows me to ensure that there isn't a problem to begin with. You can make believe anything you want to after that, just be sure to wear your American made tin foil hat while doing it. Because you can't trust the Chinese made hats. They use inferior tin.
EDIT: And BTW - nice attempt at trolling... tablet UI...
