Unless they have changed the way pictures are attached to emails, it will still be worthless. You cannot forward emails with pictures from Yahoo(AT&T), or AOL webmails. All you get is the red x.

I agree with agurusguru. The inability to embed graphics in the body of the text is the biggest reason I don't use Yahoo webmail application daily. However, I do use Yahoo to generate disposable addresses on the fly. That's very useful, although an "upgrade" several years ago made it less useful when they disabled the ability to cut and paste the disposable address. All things considered, Yahoo is not as useful now as it was 10 years ago. Every update in the last decade has broken some feature I liked in the "Notes," "Calendar" or "Disposable" function without adding anything useful. Because of this, I access my Yahoo mail via Thunderbird. The one utility that keeps me with Yahoo is the disposable addresses, and when they break that I'll be gone.

I switched to Gmail because I can use Thunderbird e-mail client for free. With Yahoo, you have to pay for an upgrade to Yahoo + mail to be able to do that. Hard to sell what others are doing for free.

if they haven't changed the fact that 97% of spam ends up in your inbox, then it's still junk.

I would LOVE it if Yahoo would just STOP trying to "upgrade" every six months. I was happy with them for a long time, but this constant unwanted "upgrading" is more of a pain than a positive.

Did they tell us this was going to happen? I opened my email tonight and was trying to figure out what had happened to it. I don't like it.

A warning about the changes would have been nice... A wider selection of themes that could conceivably coordinate with the mandated purple "unread messages" dot indicators would have really really really been nice... (Is anyone looking at these jarring combinations???) Continued availability of my favorite theme would have been nice... An artist's recognition of color combinations that actually work would have been nice... I find myself having to close my eyes to shut out the jarring color combinations, which make it extremely difficult to read my email...

LEAVE MY EMAIL ALONE.

EVERY TIME SOMETHING IS "IMPROVED" IT'S WORSE THAN BEFORE.

WHY DO I HAVE TO ACTIVATE A DROPDOWN TO SIGN OUT.

TO SEND A EMAIL I HAVE MOVE RIGHT TO GET THE ADDRESSES THEN LEFT TO PIC ONE.

2 DESIGNS BACK WAS MUCH SIMPLER.

YOU CHANGED ONE OF MY EMAILS TO THIS NEW FORMAT ~2WEEKS AGO AND CHANGED IT BACK THE OTHER DAY - THANK YOU.
TODAY YOU CHANGED ALL MINE TO THE NEW FORMAT - FK YOU.

I used to think you couldn't embed graphics in the body of the text, until somebody showed me how. Open two windows, drag image from site A (or the Chive;) into the new message window. You get a full embedded picture, not an attached one. I seem to remember Copy/Paste of the image working on Windows, but I'm a Windows guy on my first Macbook, and can't get everything to work exactly the same. I couldn't do copy/paste from my Macbook, but the drag image into the body worked.

Yes, you can... click the Settings button (the gear shapped icon next to your photo). The first item on the drop-down menu is THEMES. Click THEMES and then choose a color and then click SAVE.
