So I finally decided I was fed up with the Acer, and bought an hp 2511x on the 'egg. I have to say - this thing is pretty big, and the color blows the Acer away. Granted, it's still TN, and I can notice some variation in color vertically, but it's still close enough, and at least the gamma is right. Surprisingly, the glossy finish hasn't been an issue at all (I was a bit worried about this), even though I keep the brightness fairly low. (I don't like extra eyestrain.) Come to think of it, do I have the largest monitor of anyone here right now? lol...

Yep, $200. A few days after I ordered it they sold out, if that says anything about it.

Mine is 65" of Mitsubishi 3d goodness. Don't get much more fun than that.
But not a bad find.

Hey, that's not (technically) a computer monitor, so it doesn't count!
Just kidding...
