Hey guys I've have a small problem with my newer computer.
I've had it for about 1 month now and upon boot up the computer will run for approximately 8-10 secs before the computer shuts off and reboots itself. I had this problem before, and had replaced the motherboard and the processor, only to have the problem to continue. Now this is where it gets weird. After a last try with it it mysteriously started working, I installed all the drivers and operating system and everything and it worked fine. I never shut it off in fear that it would never turn back on. Sure enough, I forgot one day and turned it off. Now I have it restarting constantly again as i explain this. Any advice? Thanks for your time!

That sounds a lot like a software problem, or even a hard drive malfunction. Try firing up a Linux live cd and seeing how the machine behaves. Should it be stable, then test the hard drive for errors. Grab the software from the hard drive manufacturers website.

The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'" -- Isaac Asimov

Does It Allow You To Start In 'SAFE MODE' ?
i cant even get the start up screen, the system wont even load. The screen remains black and refuses to go farther in than 10 secs.
I also cannot think of a better way to describe my problem so i filmed the process on my ipod to give you a clearer idea of my problem. It was working before so i doubt a software issue, but I don't know much about these things..... if it is a software issue, a description to fix it please, unless the solution was described above.....
P.S I couldn't make a video small enough to fit 750k (obviously) so i uploaded it to my youtube channel

Leave a comment here or there if you have a solution

Welcome to PC World forums.
Powers of observation can lead you to the fault. With the power cord pulled, observe the power supply fans when you plug in and again when you turn it on. If the fans spin and then stop, the P/S is sensing a fault. New builds can be a real pain when if standoffs are even just a little off in their mounting allowing shorts that can even become temperature sensitive. Assembly outside the case will confirm an intermittent short. But from the discription of how it failed initially, leads me to think the P/S is the problem.
