I have a black and white image and I want to color the background (All the white area). In fact I have a background image, if possible it would be perfect if I could paste the black and white image in top of the background and the white area of the B&W image would become the same color as my background.

However, if this is not possible, how could I color the white area of the B&W picture with Inkscape?

Thanks so much

See my images attached.

B&W, Background and My tried in paint (Really bad, some many white still)
