Greenshot is fairly basic. My personal free utility is Jet Screenshot which allows some editing and an easy share feature not found in most free programs of this type.

I have been using the free PicPick. More than Greenshot, PicPick has a raft of wonderful editing features built in for enhanding, adding text and graphics, drop shadows, and on and on, to your screenshots. You may want to check it out before deciding.

I've used Gadwin PrintScreen for years; a simple, fast screensaver. Check it out.
