Before I switched to Windows 8 I had Windows XP and used Qulb to filter my email. PCWorld recommended Qurb. Now Qurb is not longer. Qurb was based on my email address book that would move any email not listed to a Qurb folder for my review later. Does anybody have any suggests for a replacement filter. Thanks. Tom723.

Hi, Tom, and welcome to the forums.
Qurb was a whitelist-based Spam filter--a technique that I've always felt was overkill.
It's still available, sort of, as CA Anti-Spam Plus. It appears not to have been updated in years, and claims to work with Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express (which was discontinued years ago).
What email program are you using (or planning to use) with Windows 8? Perhaps it already offers whitelisting? If not, whatever whitelist program you use would have to work with it.

Hi,
Try Pegasus Mail. I used PMail v 4.11 and v 4.12 and must say it has a quite elaborate system of filters and other useful stuff. Maybe it has white/ black lists too.
Yes, it has them and these guides will tell you how to do it.
