I had the classic shell installed and had to upgrade to the newer version so I uninstalled it and tried to install the newer version and it wouldn't install any software I try to install. I tried pokki and it shows the administrator request and when I click ok, the pop-up goes away and it doesn't do anything after that. I tried so many start (shell) program and it is the same result. Can any one help? Thanks.

Looks like you're not getting any responses here. Have you tried Sourceforge's help forum?

Hi, RTremor.
Did you have this problem after you successfully installed the new version of Classic Shell? Or did the problem block your installation?
Also, am I right in assuming you're using Windows 8?

Huh? RTremor posts his query at what is, last in the US, late at night. Then six hours later you comment that he's not getting any responses?
Give us time to wake up.

Lincoln, I didn't mean any offense. I'm just accustomed to other regulars jumping in, it wasn't a poke at you.
