When I send my husband an email or forward something, I get almost instant reply from his account with a link in it. (http://maldivesholid.../go..friend.php) I tried a few thing like scanning on his PC for malware and changing his password, but it just won't stop. We both use AOL. Any ideas who has the problem and how we can avoid it? I appreciate your time. Thank you.

Hi, ozeanfrau, and welcome to the forums.

The first thing to do is check to see if he the autoresponse feature (sometimes called vacation response) turned on. I haven't used AOL in years, so I don't know off-hand how you would get to this feature.

btw, if this happens even when his computer is turned off, you can be sure that the problem isn't an infection on his PC.
