One of the scvhost processes uses 100% cpu for several minutes , then it drops to 50% and eventually stops. This is always triggered when windows starts and when i connect to the internet ( i have to manually connect to it).

I red a solution on google that says i should disable windows automatic updates. That option was already turned off , so it's not that.

Edit: It also happens when i disconnect from the internet.

What version of windows?
What kind of internet connection?
Have you run a full malware scan?

Windows version is important because the behavior is different across versions.

I have windows 7 32bit.

My internet connection is fiber optic cable (i think).

I scanned my computer some time ago , when i had this issue and it didn't find any viruses.
By the way , i have this issue since a long time , but it used to use only 50% cpu , only in the last two months it started using all of it.

Have you updated to Service Pack 1 yet? If so, it won't hurt to run that installer to repair anything that may be broken.

I installed the software and i saw that process with pid number 1012 uses mostly the cpu. How can i check what DLL is uses?

I don't know if i have SP1 , i'm going to check and try to install it.

Hover over the process and it'll tell you the command line switch that was used to run it. (or open the properties and look at the top of the window) I just realized - I meant services, not dlls.
