For someone with the word "Think" in their products, they should have done a lot more thinking about whether to put the abomination that is Windows 8 on their devices. Good grief.

Personally, I like the new touchscreen hardware manufacturers are coming out, but hate how none of it is compatible with Windows 7. (even some of the Thinkpads - I checked and they never have Win7 drivers) Sure, that OS wasn't built for touch, but I wouldn't mind having a touchscreen anyway, and since metro is useless to me, I'd be using the desktop UI for everything anyway. At that point, the metro side just gets in the way, like it does on everything else. At least all the other Thinkpads have a Windows 7 option... (and interestingly, those support everything from 8 to XP, though asking for support for a popular 3-year old OS on a touchscreen laptop is apparently too much)

I'm loving what Lenovo and other manufacturers have lined up this year. 2013 is going to be a fantastic year for new technology. I can also see that mobile monitor being a great accessory for sharing and presenting in meetings, especially hooked up to a Surface PC or similar. Use the host tablet or device for control and have your colleagues see documents and interact with the larger display, and output to a projector at the same time - and fit it all in your bag....cool! (Well a big and heavy bag anyway lol)

Onward and upward. New progrms that tax the current hardware, dictating new advances in hardware to take advantage of the new software. it used to be the hardware outran the software but the situation has reversed and the hardware lags by six months or so. One drives the other and they drive the economy.

I believe you should "Think" before posting this comments. Windows 8 is the new OS, which is why they have all new products with Windows 8.
