I find it hilarious that T Mobile can possibly name another carrier's service crap. I live in Colorado and T Mobile's network is barely functional. I have traveled to Chicago, Dallas and New York and had marginal service with very slow data. They know it is marginal but still hold us hostage to their contract. They com in a distant fourth in the carrier race. What a joke!

I beg to differ, I work in the loop and I live outside the city and no matter where I am located in or out of Chicago I always get 4-5 bars with at least 10Mbps download and 1Mbps upload.
The upload speed may be slow but honestly who really needs to upload huge files while on the go? I cannot wait for T-Mobile LTE, besides T-Mobile is a business that is creating jobs.
Sure they have issues but I still personally support them because for the fact they are trying to change and are working hard to keep jobs which makes our current unemployment issue a little better than what it could had been with out T-Mobile.

Looking through the history on the speedtest app on my phone (Galaxy Nexus on T-Mobile), I'm seeing 5-7mbps down, ~3mbps up, and ping times of around 100ms. (as long as the cell radio hasn't gone to sleep/low power mode) Not as fast as LTE, but easily good enough... (this is in the San Francisco area) I'm certainly glad I have alternatives like them from Verizon and AT&T. (on the $30 5GB/100min/unlimited texting prepaid plan)
