What hunter needs this? Where is the sport in that? Something like this is going to end up in the hands of some deranged killer; only this time he will kill every target, no just most of them. WTF are these idiots thinking of. Why don't they deliver this tech to the military and police only. Normal people don't need this.
always be just.

This is the technological world we now live in, I want one.
I would bet "chosenson" doesn't use a black powder or flintlock gun to hunt with, probably even uses a scope?? Where do you draw the line, at what was around when you started shooting?
I am 61yrs old and am only interested in the best & most accurate way to do anything, BRING IT ON!!

So... How do we keep this out of the hands of some deranged school kid who now can not only ensure kills, but post live to their social network?

As a retired teacher, I've long been interested in how language is used. I wonder if briansymes is falling into the linguistic trap of confusing "best" with newest and/or "most accurate". Not all new technology, even if it is more efficient, can automatically be considered the "best". BobHome pointed out two reasons why this rifle and its associated social media possibilities could make it the worst way to be shooting.

I was going to refrain, but I suppose I will not. What will keep it out of the hands of a deranged killer? Or some teen? Lawfully, background checks, parents, and probably the 20k price point. And remember folks, guns don't kill people. People kill people.
