Power Problems

Hi i installed windows 8 bout a month ago and since then my pc will shut down with no reason, and wont power back on untill ive taken out the power lead till the board is void of power, it will happen anytime from every couple of days to once a week, but only happens when i play a game like LOL bf3 saints row 3 ect.

Windows 8
4 gig ddr3
amd fx 4 series
1tb hdd
nvidia 460 gt
500 watt psu
