Is Javascript a problem on a website, such as abc7? I do not have any plugins for Java on any of my browsers.

Javascript has nothing to do with Java.

As one 'best answer' on another site posted:

" 'java' is to 'javascript' like 'car' is to 'carpet' "

I mistakenly deleted javascript. Is there a way to reinstall it?

I am, as usual, confused. Do I uninstall Java and if I do when is it safe to install it again? Or, is there a different solution?

Thanking you in advance,

Alan
