my computer config
mother board : DG33FB
processor : Core 2 Duo
RAM : 2 x 2GB
RAM SLOTS : 2BLUE and 2 BLACK
recently i bought 4 x 2Gb
transcend JM667QLU-2G ram modules when i tried to install the same ie all the four modules to gether 8GB in total my computer does not even boot the bios does not load neither any beep sounds
when i remove 2 modules ie 4GB every thing is normal
what could be the problem pl help me

To add clarify what elfbane has asked, are you running a 64 bit os or 32 bit ? If you are running XP, then most likely it is 32 bit and will only see 4 Gb and use 3 to 3.5 Gb.

I did some quick googling and your RAM and motherboard should be compatible. You might have a bad stick, it happens even with new RAM. I would try installing one stick at a time, in each of the four slots, to see if they all POST. It's a bit time consuming but would tell you a lot.
