Help
I have a Win7 x64 Home Premium rig. I installed a second SATA HDD in it in order to speed up the time it takes to do a backup clone. However, I don't need the second HDD to run all of the time... so is it possible to "turn off" the second drive via a software function? Or do I have to actually remove the drives power plug?
I hope the question makes sense, and thanks for any help.

My storage drive is one of the "green" HDDs so it parks after a period of no use (not sure how long). The downside is that I have to wait for it to spin up when I first access it.
