C:\documents And Settings\<<user Name>>\local Settings\temp Hidden? How to delete?

XP SP3

Today I had to run RegEdit & I noticed 100's of Temp folers. C:\Documents and Settings\<<User Name>>\Local Settings\Temp\. I'm always looking for useless Temp files/folders to delete. Then I used Windows Exploder to look for the offending Temp folders. Hmmmmm? Can't see them.

Are These folders Hidden? Can I safely delete them, if I UNhide them?

If they truly "hidden" then you wouldn't be able to see them.

Temp files can be deleted.

Try this:
Run/Folder options/View/Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
Without knowing the folders I won't guess about the safety of deleting them.

Well if registry entries aren't deleted the folder could be deleted and the registry still could show the folder.

Good point. After deleting the offending Temp folders, I'll RegEdit the Registry again & delete the entrys.
