MISTAKENLY PUT MY NEW LAPPY NEAR HIGH BASS WOOFERS...IT WAS REALLY VIBRATING HEAVILY FELT LIKE A QUAKE ALMOST...COULD IT REALLY HARM THE HARDWARE

I suppose if the computer is really vibrating, then it could be a problem for a hard drive.

I have known people who did damage their hard drives from their speakers that way. If you are going to leave your equipment near loud speakers, then simply switch to solid state drives, and you don't have to worry any more!
