I'm looking for app to organize chores at home. Both my partner and I must be able to add and complete tasks, on Android and iOS devices. It seems most of these let's us do that. But we also need to be able to get a nice report over who did what tasks how many times. We need to see what tasks each of us completed in, say, january 2013. Tasks completed several times (e.g. "cook dinner") need to be counted. Which of the apps above have the reporting features to accomdate our need?

So you include Evernote and OneNote, which are both much more than a to-do app, but you exclude SpringPad? What's up with that?

If we are so dependent upon a third party application that we cease functioning then "we" are the problem, not the program. Sometimes a 3x5 card and good communication is the best way. It allows for human interaction and also gets the job done as well. I use Google ~tasks and ~calendar as well. Don, Vegas .....just IMHO

Other than Evernote, which is great for it's primary purposes, I've looked at most of these "to do" app. The one I finally chose to use is Astrid. I've been using is a long time and it meets my needs and it keeps getting better with time. More recently it allows me to "keep up" with what I have to do, whether I"m using my Android phone, my iPad, or my PC. I don't know how you pick which apps you include in your list, but you sure missed the boat by not including Astrid...

Great collection of apps, thanks! I am a busy mom and I am using more of an all in one app. The one I have right now is Hapimomi that helps manage my to dos, shopping lists, calendar etc. It works great because I get to share automatically with my family. Their shopping list is super slick, love the swiping feature.
