I just got a Asus Vivo RT which is a windows 8 rt device and I like it...I also use ad have iPhone 5 and have Ipad 2.
- no it doesn't have a lot of apps
- yes the apps cost more
+ but the thing i do really enjoy about the windows 8 rt over apple is
1) Flash support,
Yes flash is dying but is also very nice not to have to download an app for every other website you want to visit and getting a more limited version of the original website
2) 32GB default flash memory, not having to pay 100 more for 16 extra GB of storage and being able to add a flash memory is a blessing
3) usb support with docking station, the surface has it built into the tablet, the asus has it built into the dock.
no more itunes
3) printing support
4) like the keyboard
5) ie/windows keyboard short cuts etc
also somewhat enjoy being able to use 2 and ta

accidentally hit submit before finishing editing... Number 5(or 6 since 3 is there twice) is the ability to somewhat use multiple screens if the app is in desktop mode.
