Lower Psu Recommendations

Can you believe the second Dell deminsion has the same PSU symptoms as I mentioned in another post?
Anyway.
The stock is 305W.
CX305N-00
18A
These are old of course and the guy doesn't want to go to much on the PSU.
I told him there are some PSUs out there that I will not experienment on his gear with.
Around ( I hate to say it ) a $25 dollar budget per unit, which lower ends have you used and could recommend?
Need a mix of pata and sata connectors.
I'll shop for it.
But if you could give me some brands it would be appriciated.
I keep hopeing for a sale but none I've seen yet.
I would like to add a slight upgrade in available power.
This PSU needs to have fan(s) only on the ends.
A top mount fan will be partialy blocked by two wide ribbons that run tight to the PSU and connect on the mobo where I don't have the ability to push it out the way.
Thanks all.

That is the best price I can find on the Corsair CX430. Their shipping prices are as to be expected (about $9 to my place in Texas), and ends up costing just as much as Newegg after the rebate.
If you can tolerate the rebate, go with the egg. Anyhow, that is the ONLY cheap power supply that I would recommend. Cosair doesn't make a smaller/cheaper unit. That one should last for a while too.

Thanks WJ.
Over the holidays I bought the Corsar X430w for my parents build.Nice looking unit.
Quite fan. Under $20. Nice bargain.
Unfortunitly for the two deminsions that need a PSU, I need an end mounted fan.
There are two wide ribbons that were actually attached to the original PSU that will run over top any side mounted fan.
That is a nice price for a good PSU so I'll revisit the cabling I mentioned.

Hi Coastie.
Yes its a 305 watt.
Wasn't aware of this.
I got lucky.
Threw a cheap ATX PSU in and it boots the system.
Been using it to tune up his pc.

Check the dimensions of the unit, I know there have been Dell specific PSUs for sale on the egg just to fit Dell standards, wouldn't want you to end up buying PSU's that don't fit!
