Help
When I Rip my wifes CD's so she can listen to them on her phone, I get 2 additional files. One is a .m3u file & the other is a .cue file. What are they for? They're not part of the original music. Her phone doesn't seem to need them.

An .m3u file is a playlist. Archive.org uses them for streaming concerts. You download the .m3u file, launch it, and it streams the music.
I have no experience with .cue files. according to http://filext.com, it's a "Description File for a CD-Image"
What software did you use to rip the music?
