I don't know where to post this.

How do I insert a screen shot into the body of a post in the forum?

I have never taken a ss till today using the snipping feature.

I have attached it now but it seems awfully small.

Please advise.

Just click on the thumbnail - it's not small.

You can also post the picture elsewhere (dropbox, imgur, photobucket, skydrive, etc), and then insert it from there.

Excellent, I see now. I also found that by saving my clips as a .jpg and not a .png image it comes out better.

Thanks for the reply.

PNGs have loseless compression (JPGs are lossy) and thus look better (with screenshots particularly). However, the forum seems to have been objecting to PNGs lately, not sure why. (it works if you simply provide a link to those images though)

To be more specific, after you upload the picture somewhere else (as noted Dropbox, PhotoBucket, etc), you actually in essence use a link to photo but you put the link inside an IMG tag. You do this using the little greenish square icon about where you are typing the text.
