Help
I would like to play an old game, IL2Sturmovik-Clifts of Dover on Windows 8.
The game it compatible with Windows 7.
I was told that you can "tweak" Windows 7 into thinking it is Windows 8 so that I can play the game.
Can this be done and how?

Well, you can enable compatibility mode by looking at the properties for a shortcut to the game.

A good answer LiveBrianD but the Windows 8 option does not show in "properties" there is only XP/Vista and 7!

What I mean is to select 'Windows 7' for the older game on the Windows 8 machine. It might not be necessary at all though.

Did you mean to say that you can tweak Windows 8 so that it behaves like Windows 7?
