I bought all the parts 2 days ago and I already assembled my computer I tried to look for beep codes and when i took off the ram and just started the computer, the beep code was 1 long 2 short.

The computer seem to have no display at all
I have no video card so i'm assuming i am using the onboard video card which is the intel graphic 2500
The computer turns no no problem. the fans are running including the cpu fan

" i am a first time builder"

PLEASE HELP AND I APPRECIATE IT

@aandyxp

A - The Motherboard Comes With A Manual, Or CD, Or DVD, Right ? - Look Into The Manual Because Those Beeps Are Certainly Described There And Are A Great Way To Future Troubleshoot Problems Before The OS Is Even Loaded,

B - Meanwhile, If You Have Several Sticks Of RAM, Try Them All But Only One At A Time, And Try It In Every Socket, Because Some Stick(s), Or Socket(s), Might Be Defective.

Good Luck.

Hi and welcome to the forums. What Operating system are you using? with an ASUS Motherboard and two sticks of memory, you should have them in slots A2 & B2. 1 long and 2 short is definitely a ram issue, course you said you removed it. Make sure the cable between the Monitor and computer is plugged in securely.

you said i can try to put them in every single one. so i can try to place one stick in either a 1 a2 b1 or b2?
even with eveyrthing plugged in including ram, i couldnt hear any beeps. i have 4 monitors. i tried every single one and there is still no display.

the motherboard does come with asus a cd with the manual. I have window 7 cd, but this custom built computer is brand new and i couldnt even install my operating system my screen is blank. the thing i dont why there is "no signal" when it is tightly plug into the vga port.

@aandyxp

Guilty Till Proven Otherwise Order Of Suspects:

A - Video Cable ( Unless Attached To Those 4 Monitors ),

B - Video Card,

C - Power Supply.

D - ... ... ... ...

Cheers.

For a single stick, plug it into A2. One more thing. Make sure you have your Processor mounted correctly. Tyhe reason I say this is because the Graphics GPU is integrated with the CPU.

Doubtful, but the PSU is not really all that reliable.
